Field Pillowcase Pair Standard

The Field Pillowcase Pair Standard is two percale pillowcases for standard pillows, 20 x 30 in each, 0.3 kg (0.7 lb) the pair. The back is an envelope, so the pillow stays inside with no buttons to feel through the fabric. Percale is a plain over-under weave: one thread over, one under, which gives a crisp, matte surface that feels cool against the skin and gets softer with every wash. The count is 270 threads per square inch by the single-yarn method, which is the honest way to count and the reason the number is lower than the ones on many boxes.

Woven and sewn in Portugal from 100% long-staple cotton. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low and take it out while it is still a little warm; percale irons well on medium if you like it pressed, sateen needs no ironing. Can I buy a single pillowcase? No, they come in pairs. Most beds use two, and the pair costs less than two singles would.
