Field Duvet Cover King

The Field Duvet Cover King is a 106 x 92 in percale cover for a king comforter, 1.6 kg (3.5 lb). Hidden buttons close the bottom edge and eight ties inside keep the comforter from bunching. Percale is a plain over-under weave: one thread over, one under, which gives a crisp, matte surface that feels cool against the skin and gets softer with every wash. The count is 270 threads per square inch by the single-yarn method, which is the honest way to count and the reason the number is lower than the ones on many boxes.

Woven and sewn in Portugal from 100% long-staple cotton, in the same three colors as the sheets. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low and take it out while it is still a little warm; percale irons well on medium if you like it pressed, sateen needs no ironing. Will it fit a 104 in comforter? Yes. It takes King comforters from 104 to 106 in wide. The ties hold a slightly smaller comforter square inside the cover.

Is it too large for a Queen bed? It will hang 8 in lower on each side than the Full/Queen cover. If you like a long overhang on a Queen, it works; otherwise the Field Duvet Cover Full/Queen is the right cut.

How do I keep the comforter from shifting? Tie the comforter's corner loops to the ties inside the cover before you button it. If your comforter has no loops, a safety pin through the tie and the comforter's corner does the same job.
