Field Sheet Set King

The Field Sheet Set King is the percale set for a king bed: a fitted sheet for a 76 x 80 in mattress with a 16 in pocket, a 108 x 102 in flat sheet, and two king pillowcases (20 x 40 in). The set weighs 2.4 kg (5.3 lb). Percale is a plain over-under weave: one thread over, one under, which gives a crisp, matte surface that feels cool against the skin and gets softer with every wash. The count is 270 threads per square inch by the single-yarn method, which is the honest way to count and the reason the number is lower than the ones on many boxes.

Elastic runs all the way around the fitted sheet, and the 108 in flat sheet leaves a full tuck on both sides. King pillowcases fit king pillows; standard pillows swim in them. Woven and sewn in Portugal from 100% long-staple cotton. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low and take it out while it is still a little warm; percale irons well on medium if you like it pressed, sateen needs no ironing.

Does this fit a California King? No. A California King is 72 x 84 in, narrower and longer than the 76 x 80 in King this set is cut for. We do not make a California King size.

The pillowcases are 40 in long. Do they fit standard pillows? They fit king pillows (20 x 36 in). On a standard 20 x 26 in pillow they leave 14 in of loose fabric. For standard pillows on a king bed, add the Field Pillowcase Pair Standard.
