Huck Bath Towel

The Huck Bath Towel is 28 x 55 in (70 x 140 cm), 0.6 kg (1.3 lb), the everyday towel after a shower. The terry is 100% long-staple cotton at 600 grams per square meter: dense loops that take up water fast and let it go in the dryer, heavy in the hand without being slow to dry. Hems are double-stitched and there is a loop on one edge for a hook.

Woven and sewn in Portugal from 100% long-staple cotton, in the same three colors as the bedding. Machine wash warm and tumble dry medium. Skip fabric softener: it coats the loops and the towel stops absorbing. Wash before first use; the towel absorbs better after the first wash takes the mill finish off.

Bath towel or bath sheet? The bath towel is 28 x 55 in; the Huck Bath Sheet is 35 x 63 in and wraps around most adults with room to spare. For daily use on a rail, the towel dries faster.

Why does it feel stiff after line drying? Cotton loops set stiff when they dry without movement. Tumble dry, even for ten minutes at the end, and the loops fluff back up. Skip softener, which coats the loops.
